I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people, too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away.

My new iPad stylus, aponyo which I got for 650 pesos (about $15) from an apple store in Manila. This is the cheapest one they got, works well and serves its purpose for me. Verdict: love it! :)

Small blessings:

Straightened out my insurance with the insurance people (which we all know are kinda hard to deal with)
Received a reversal which was erroneously charged to my Credit Card (again, CC people are also in the list of hard people to deal with)
Got my internet back after two days of server problems
Received my favorite bag (for now) in time for our trip (shout-out to Ms. Jerrie)

Just some small things I am thankful of today.

For quite some time, I’ve been hurting and wanting to get this woman to be finally upfront and truthful to me; I know we can never be friends ever, not that I didn’t try for my husband’s sake, despite our spouses are good friends. I just learned today that if she can lie smoothly to her own sister, how else will I expect her to be honest with people who are not related to her? Another lesson learned, more to go.
